Multiple types of pepper

Although the effects of spruce essential oils are similar, there are differences in the scents. While the scent of grey spruce,Picea glauca, is** lighter** and fresher, the scent of black spruce, Picea mariana, impresses with its spicy notes. The smell of the bark and wood of the black spruce is in contrast to the smell of needles more woody. Norway spruce Picea abies is characterised by a much more pronounced resinous freshness.
